Screen print !

Hopefully I will be getting my screen print made over the weekend! Then I'll be able to press it. If you are unaware what breaking bad is, here's a summary of it.
Walter white a Albequerque, New Mexico high school , life drastically changes when he's diagnosed with stage III terminal lung cancer, and given a short amount of time left to live: a mere matter of months. To ensure his handicapped son and his pregnant wife have a financial future, Walt uses his chemistry background to create and sell the world's finest crystal methamphetamine. To sell his signature "blue meth," he teams up with Jesse Pinkman, a former student of his. The meth makes them very rich very quickly, but it attracts the attention of his DEA brother in law Hank. As Walt and Jesse's status in the drug world escalates, Walt becomes a dangerous criminal and Jesse becomes a hot-headed salesman. Hank is always hot on his tail, and it forces Walt to come up with new ways to cover his tracks.

Sketching

Starting an amateur drawing of what I would like my sculpture to look like, thought about using real blue glass to fill in the trays to resemble the popular "blue meth" from the breaking bad series, hopefully it would be possible, the base so far is coming out great but it of course needs time to be totally completed.

Brain storming powah

I chose pop culture because it is so diverse and has so many different topics to choose from, I have thought about the constant change with our pop culture all the way from the 60's when free expression emerged, such as Warhol, all the way to the present day with our fascinations with what we call the idiot box. But none the less pop culture is going to be extremely fun to sculpt, I'm especially excited for the television shows I can incorporate in my art, such as my favorites Doctor Who, Sherlock, and breaking bad. Once I start the train of creativity I will post more about my processes.
